As the Indiana branch of the Association for Play Therapy, Inc. we participate in a dual membership program. Exciting Happenings with INAPT
INAPT has been very busy, with changes in the Board’s structure, hosting our first fall conference and planning for the state conference. INAPT hosted Linda Homeyer, PhD, LPCS, RPTS on September 30 at Country Lake Christian Retreat Center in Underwood Indiana. She presented on “Being and Effective Play Therapist with Children who have been Sexually Abused”. She dealt with a difficult but prominent issues in a professional but low stress way and everyone came away from the conference with new information and a better understanding of the different roles they may play. INAPT is now looking forward to hosting Liana Lowenstein MSW, RSW, CPT-S, June 21-22 in Indianapolis, for our state conference. We hope many of you will attend.
InAPT President, Heather Maritano, has dinner with the Dude in Sacramento at the recent National APT conference. Please stay toned for more details about her and Dude’s adventures!
About Our Organization
As a branch of the national organization, the National Association for Play Therapy, we are a community of individuals and organizations increasing awareness of, providing professional training for, and insuring access to quality play therapy services.
The InAPT has no physical structure to house the organization. We have board meetings and gatherings at various locations around the state. The best way to contact us is through email. Contact the Board Members or the Web Administrator
